The Rising Advantage
Privacy policy
Effective September 10, 2026. Updated September 13, 2026 to explain consent-based purchase measurement and landing-page quiz analytics.
Who we are
The Rising Advantage is operated by Jack David Holdings, LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, at 77 Monroe Center St NW, Ste 600, Grand Rapids, MI 49503. Contact corey@coreythehart.com about privacy.
Information we collect and why
- Account identifiers, name and email received through sign-in, to identify your account and provide access.
- Purchase and subscription records, to deliver purchases, manage billing and handle refunds. Stripe processes payment details; we do not receive your full payment card number.
- Course answers, completion records and saved progress that you submit, to provide your workbook and let you continue where you left off.
- Emails and information you share in coaching or support, to respond and deliver the services you request.
- Technical request and security information handled by our hosting providers, such as IP address, browser information and access logs, to operate and protect the site.
Do not enter passwords, financial account numbers, medical records or other sensitive information into your workbook. You can keep personal details in your own private notes.
Your student profile
We use Auth0 for email and password sign-in. Auth0 handles your password, verification, and password-reset process. After payment, we ask for your preferred name. School, stage in studies, age range, and your main goal are optional. These answers help us improve the course and understand which campuses we reach. A separate, optional choice lets us send invitations for feedback or student research. You can change your details and this choice in your profile. Profile answers are not sent to advertising pixels.
Your starting-point check
The optional five-question check collects the answers you submit to give you a practical result and support course improvement and research on student habits. It does not ask for a name or email and is not a condition of purchase. Do not include identifying or sensitive details in write-in answers. We store answers separately from your course account, with the survey version, whether you started on the landing page or in Welcome, and the submission date. A secure, first-party cookie remembers your result for 30 days in the same browser so you can return to it after purchasing. This cookie provides the check you requested and is not used for advertising. Retaking the check updates that browser’s response rather than adding another response. These voluntary visitor responses are kept separate from classroom survey groups and are not representative of all students. Contact us about your response while using the same browser so we can help locate it.
Landing-page quiz analytics
If you accept the updated optional-cookie choice, we record quiz starts, question numbers reached and completed, successful completion, result views, reviews, and clicks toward checkout on the public landing page. These events use a random identifier for each attempt, kept only in page memory. They do not include your answers, result category, name, email, account identifier, IP address, or advertising identifiers, and are not sent to Snapchat. They are stored in our hosting database and removed after 90 days during subsequent analytics activity. Reloads can create a new attempt; counts describe attempts rather than unique people. Declining optional cookies or enabling Global Privacy Control stops this tracking. We do not reconstruct earlier interactions after you accept. We have not enabled session recordings or heatmaps.
Research and service improvement
We may use information we collect to conduct internal research, evaluate and improve our courses and services, understand student needs and engagement, study learning and planning habits, assess educational outcomes, and develop educational resources. This may include course responses, progress, voluntary feedback, surveys, support themes and service-use information. We use only information reasonably needed for the research purpose and limit access to authorized people.
We use aggregated or de-identified information where practical. We may publish or share research findings and educational insights in forms designed not to identify individual students. We do not publish identifiable workbook responses, private coaching communications, or student quotes without separate permission. Removing a name alone may not make a response anonymous; we review details that could identify someone before sharing results.
Participation in a separate research study is voluntary and may require additional information and consent, including parent or guardian permission where appropriate. Accepting optional cookies does not enroll you in a study or authorize publication of identifiable information. We will provide notice and obtain any required consent before materially different research uses, including uses of previously collected information that are inconsistent with the notice under which it was collected. This policy update does not itself authorize those uses retroactively.
Contact us to ask about research use of your information or to request exclusion from future optional research. We will explain any limits, including findings already published or information that can no longer be linked to you.
Who receives information
We use service providers for hosting and data storage, sign-in, payments, email and embedded media. These include OpenAI Sites, Cloudflare, Auth0, Stripe, Snapchat for consent-based advertising measurement, Rewardful for our affiliate program, and the providers of embedded Google Drive and Descript videos. They receive information needed for their roles. External services you choose to visit have their own privacy policies. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and security, or in connection with a business transfer subject to applicable protections.
Cookies and similar technologies
Our cookie preferences cover essential site functions and optional tracking. Essential cookies support authentication, security and remembering privacy choices. Optional technology includes Rewardful referral attribution and Snapchat advertising measurement, as described below. We do not treat acceptance as permission for undisclosed future tracking purposes.
Sign-in and third-party services may use cookies or similar technologies. Embedded videos may send your browser and connection information to their providers when loaded. You can manage cookies in your browser, although blocking essential cookies may affect access.
We have not enabled Google Analytics or Meta advertising tags in this version of the site. Snapchat advertising measurement and account matching operate only after the optional choice described below. This version does not change its behavior in response to browser Do Not Track signals.
Snapchat advertising and your choice
If you accept optional cookies and are age 18 or older, Snapchat can receive visits to our public sales page, views of course details, checkout starts, and confirmed purchases. Information can include the course identifier, price, currency, transaction identifier, browser and device information, advertising click information, and a hashed checkout email when available. Hashing supports matching and does not make this data anonymous. Snapchat uses this information for ad measurement, account matching, audience creation, and advertising optimization. Our server can report a confirmed paid course purchase directly to Snapchat after Stripe confirms payment, even if you do not return to the confirmation page. This uses the same transaction identifier as browser reporting to prevent double counting. It can include your hashed checkout email, browser information, IP address, Snapchat cookie identifier, and ad-click identifier available when checkout begins. Server reporting requires the updated optional consent choice; older cookie choices are not reused. Tracking is not installed on workbook or profile pages, and we do not send course answers, quiz responses, school, age range, or research preferences to Snapchat. Temporary checkout-matching information expires after seven days and is cleared after successful delivery or withdrawal; expired rows are removed during later checkout activity.
Affiliate referrals and your choice
With your opt-in, Rewardful uses referral cookies on our public sales page to remember who referred you for up to 30 days. We pass the referral identifier to Stripe when you begin a course purchase so Rewardful can attribute eligible payments and adjust commissions for refunds. Rewardful receives referral, customer and transaction information through its Stripe connection. This integration does not send your saved workbook answers to Rewardful. If you enter an affiliate promotion code at checkout, Stripe and Rewardful can attribute that transaction without referral cookies.
Optional cookies are off until you choose to accept them in Cookie settings. Previous consent is not treated as acceptance of this updated notice. Only visitors age 18 or older should opt in. Declining does not change your price or access. We honor Global Privacy Control by disabling optional referral and advertising cookies. Use the settings below to change your choice; withdrawing consent clears our browser referral and Snapchat cookies, stops future browser tracking, and requests cancellation of unsent purchase reporting associated with this browser. If that request fails, the site shows a retry option. Withdrawal cannot recall events already sent or erase records needed to administer prior transactions. Your cookie preference is remembered for up to 180 days. Essential-only choices do not prevent us from processing necessary service records or conducting research as described above; cookie choices and research participation are separate.
Retention and security
We keep information for as long as needed to provide your services and account, meet legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes and protect the service. Retention depends on the type of record and its purpose. Access controls and other reasonable safeguards help protect information, but no service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and requests
Email us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or a copy of it. Depending on your state and the laws that apply, you may have additional rights, including opting out of certain processing or appealing a denied request. You can appeal by replying to our decision and asking for a privacy appeal. We will explain our decision and respond within the applicable legal deadline.
We may verify your identity or an authorized agent’s permission before completing a request. Some records must be retained for legal, security or transaction purposes. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights. You can opt out of promotional emails by contacting us; essential purchase and service messages may continue.
Children
The service is not available to children under 13. Students ages 13–17 require a parent or legal guardian’s purchase and consent. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
Changes and contact
We will date updates to this policy and provide additional notice of material changes where required. Contact Jack David Holdings, LLC at corey@coreythehart.com.
